Business Card Printing Secrets

High quality business cards are often printed using PMS spot colors. Some corporations have even trademarked their brand’s combination of colors. PMS printing can consist of multiple colors, but for designs with four or more hues, it’s more cost-effective to print using four-color process (also known as CMYK). Business cards typically include your name, position or occupation, company or business, address of the corporate office or wherever you are doing business from, your work number, home number, mobile number, and email address. However, you might not wish to include all of that info on your card.

It’s strongly advised that you include an image on your business card. Studies have shown that people are more likely to hold on to a business card with one or more images on it. It might be your photo, an image of your product, or something entirely unique. Images on cards get attention!

The weight of a card varies by location, but generally, business cards are printed on stock that’s 350 g/m2. We also do business branding for your companies.

We offer full-color business cards using CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) four-color printing. This method overlays screens of each color, creating a wide range of vibrant hues. However, a drawback is that CMYK cards may show small dots upon close inspection, unlike solid spot color printed cards. For cards with line art, we recommend spot color printing.

We use high-end digital presses, not office copiers, for printing. UV coatings can expedite production but may be very shiny and prone to fingerprints. For increased durability, lamination is an excellent choice for your business cards. Rest assured, our printing options cater to your specific needs, delivering professional and visually appealing results.
